2.The reaction of bis(hydrazido)phosphines with transition metal/organometallic precursors have generated a wide spectrum of coordination compounds. Mononuclear chelates of w(O), Mo(O), Pt(I) and Pd(l) can be prepared.

3.The N-N bond demonstrates remarkable thermal and hydrolytic stability.
